the fairisle socks are done (the toe is actually grafted now, and both have been washed - and worn) and i find them to not fit enough, and to be too itchy to wear. so... they will either need to find a new home, or will get framed or something. i would like to make a pair that fit properly out of some laceweight merino that i picked up...


i found them to be relatively easy to knit (i love knitting fairisle) but i made a few changes. i totally changed the toe, and would've changed the heel if i had realized before i got the first one done how it would come out.
