Dragons!
i managed to get a glimpse of the dragon scarf from morehouse merino while at the MDSW and have managed to figure out the spikes enough to make a reasonable facsimile. while their yarn is nice, i was not terribly interested in purchasing a pattern with yarn that i don't want. i don't want a green (or even a red) dragon, i need a PURPLE dragon.
and here she is:
so far, i'm pretty happy, though i think i'm going to run out of yarn. i also think i need to rip back a bit and and narrow it a bit in the mid-body. it's a good 2 1/2 feet, but given what yarn i have left, it's not quite enough. oh well. this merino is surprisingly good at being re-knit.
